Once upon a time a homeschooling mom decided to put up an information site on the Internet, to help other homeschoolers teach using classical education. At that time, very few people homeschooled using classical education, because it was said to be impossible. But this mom was doing it, and she wanted to help other homeschoolers do it, too.

To her shock and amazement, her little site became one of the most popular homeschooling sites on the Internet. She worked hard to expand the site’s usefulness, but one day she had to admit it: she just wasn’t a web programmer or a webmaster.

Her expertise was in writing curriculum, lesson plans, and information for other parents, but coding and maintaining the website now took all her time. While the broken links piled up, she wondered if all the helps she envisioned for other homeschoolers would ever be completed and posted on her site. Sadly, it seemed not.

But one day she wondered: what if a web programmer and a webmaster took over the work she could not do? She would be able to finish the website! Since her site was information only, and did not generate revenue, she wondered how she could afford this. But, she thought, if the parents who use the site found it helpful, perhaps they would be willing to support it by donations to keep it on the Internet.

Was she right? Only time will tell. If she was right, then the CCH site will be completed one day soon, and will continue to grow. If she was wrong, then one day the CCH site will no longer be on the Internet.
